- Big Kids (ages 4-8)
- Young Adults (ages 9-17)
Our classes help young adults to improve their self-esteem by becoming more independent!
Participants combine artistic skills with culinary arts to create some fun and tasty treats that are HEALTHY and nutritious.
Making it fun for Young Adults!
Everyone has to start somewhere. If you teach your kids that preparing their own food can be fun as well as being more beneficial to their health, it won't seem like such a chore growing up. It will become part of their regular daily routine. When something becomes part of your daily routine, it becomes your way of living.
At KitchenCoaches, we have developed a series of programs that teach kids about different foods as well as how to prepare them. These programs are:
- Fun
- HANDS-ON
- Designed for specific age groups in order to gradually introduce new things.
Obesity in Young Adults
Obesity is a very serious problem in the USA. It doesn't matter if you are rich or poor. More and more people are having health complications that begin with the food that they eat. If young people are NOT taught about making better decisions about the food they eat and furthermore, how to PREPARE these foods, they are going to be left to snack on all sorts of processed and prepared foods. This in turn will result in a shorter a life expectancy than their parents and grandparents.
In this day and age, kids have to grow up faster and are making more decisions about their lifestyle. Puberty is difficult enough without having to worry about following the latest diet fad. That is why it is especially important to teach young adults at an early age how to prepare their own food instead of relying upon a drive-thru or junk food.

Adult Basic Culinary Programs

Adult Program Information.
Senior ProgramsOur Senior Programs provide select culinary arts content to participants, ages 55+ who ALREADY have a life-long experience of cooking for family, friends and loved ones. We specialize in working with Seniors who are Culinary Challenged!
- Perfect for those who typically cook for one or two people, empty nesters or retirees!
- Our classes are great for those Seniors who want to eat healthy but want to ALSO eat delicious food.
(This is especially important for those on restricted diets)
- Participants can renew their interests in delicious home cooking while learning some new things.
- Our classes are fun, entertaining and ALWAYS interactive! After all, Seniors have walked this earth the longest and want to do fun things too!
